- ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆Update 03/30/2016: Hmmm, not sure if the merger with United Community Bank was such a good idea. After the merger a simple counter deposit takes twice as long, printing the account balance on ones deposit slip seems to be impossible and the UCB web site is a mess. I understand that after a merger things my take a while to run smoothly, so I will give it another month or two to see where things are going... I switched by business account to Palmetto Bank coming from one of the bigger financial institutions. Very much appreciate the "family" atmosphere and service I receive. I will continue to do business here and certainly recommend this bank to others.By Michael Scholz, June 28, 2017
